April Update

Here is the curriculum update for April:

1. Math - Division
2. Language Arts - Short Story Creative Writing
3. Reading - Literature Circles (small group novel study)
4. Social Studies - Canadian Identity, Past Government Discrimination, and Immigration
5. Fine Arts - Small group dramas
6. Other: Library Inquiry Presentation Project using Google Slides
7. Continuing: Spelling, PE/DPA, Health, French, Math Games, etc.

Here's to a great start of our final term of the 2018-19 school year!  Yeah, the warm weather is returning.

February Update

Oh my goodness! How about this snow, eh?  Mid-February already... here is the update:

1. Math: Multiplication
2. LA: Research Book Report Writing
3. SS: First Nations Unit is being completed; test this month
4. SC: Simple Machine Unit begins
5. Drama: Puppet Shows
6. Music: Victoria Sings preparations
7. Continuing as usual: Spelling, French, P.E., Health

Report Cards are issued the day before before Spring Break.  Student Led Conferences are Feb. 20th and 21st.
