It's been a terrific first two months, and here we are already in November. Of note is our Remembrance Day Assembly on Nov. 9th, when Division 3 students will be presenting a soldier profile from one of Canada's foreign conflicts, as well as singing the song "Hands United in Peace" as part of the Eagle View Intermediate Choir.The following is the curriculum update for this month:
1. Language Arts: Hatchet Novel Study and associated L.A. activities.
2. Guided Reading: Leveled non-fiction reading groups.
3. Math: Addition and Subtraction
4. Social Studies: We are completing our Government Unit, including writing our unit test.
5. Science: Matter
6. Continuing curriculum: P.E., French, Spelling, Health, Computers and Fine Arts.
