December Update

It's the season of all things festive, and Division 3 is gearing up for the winter break.  We have lots going on, including report cards, which should come home on Friday, Dec. 14th.

The other big news is the Winter Concert, which will take place in the final week.  There are two shows (Dec. 20), plus a dress rehearsal (Dec.19).  Our PJ Day and bowling field trip are on the final Friday, right after the pancake breakfast (Dec. 21).

Here's our curriculum update:
Math: Patterns and Introductory Algebra
LA: Completing our Hatchet Novel Study
Guided Reading: Various non-fiction text-related activities. Small Group novel studies will begin in January.
Science: Finishing our unit on Matter.
Social Studies: Begins again in January.
Other areas that continue as usual: Spelling, PE and DPA, Computers, Fine Arts and French.
